The Breakthrough Tour of Ukraine ended on Thursday, October 13^th with a final concert in Kiev.  The  19 member Breakthrough team gave their best effort to ensure the concert in Kiev would have as much charisma and energy as the prior concerts.  The event was televised by Zazazu.tv and broadcast live for worldwide viewing with an untold number of viewers watching throughout the Russian speaking world. 

Breakthrough Band sang of God’s love and the freedom that can be found through a relationship with Jesus Christ.  A professionally produced video testimony of Breakthrough lead singer Sean Mitchell gave a moving firsthand account of God’s power to change lives.  When Michael Gott took the stage he delivered the message of salvation with clarity and sincerity.  Dennis, a Zazazu.tv personality and host of The Late Nite Show, translated Michael’s message into Russian.  The two fell into a perfect rhythm and cadence bound by a shared passion for the lost who were hearing the Gospel message.  Both the live and webcast audience heard an undeniably clear accounting of the salvation made available to all through Jesus. 

As the event in Kiev ended and the hall was cleared, the Breakthrough team loaded the tour bus for the last time.   A sense of peace and a quiet jubilation in knowing that their lives had been poured out was expressed by one team member.   She said, “This is my favorite kind of exhaustion, the kind with eternal benefits.”   

 In a combined effort to reach Ukraine for God the tour saw 1,914 positive responses.  All of those 1,914 who filled out and turned in their own response cards indicating the desire to know God in a personal way will be contacted by the follow up teams from local churches.   Many have already been contacted more than once.

Please continue to pray for the ongoing follow up effort in all 8 cities in which concerts were held.  Breakthrough thanks each of you who supported this ministry through prayer and financial support.  Together we have a shared joy in knowing that the Gospel message rang out loudly and clearly in Ukraine during this tour.  Thank you!
