We Love the Chinese Church

Singing Men of Texas & Chinese Choirs
Recorded by David Bolin

On our trip to China, David Bolin carried along a little mini-disc player and stereo microphone. The primary reason for carrying the player was to listen to music during the trip. He didn't have any particular plans for making recordings, but wonderful things often happen to those who are ready to receive them.

At each of our concerts, Chinese choirs from the local churches sang for us before we sang for them. Their music was wonderful and David captured it in recordings that sound as good as a professional recording. (Disclaimer: This isn't a professional recording and does have a few minor glitches.) He has put together a CD containing 44 minutes of music and other sounds of worship. The CD will also have the entire China Journal Web Site.

Two sample selections are available.
