Singing Men of Texas Retreat Information August 21 - 22, 2008 Registration and room check in will begin at 3:00 p.m. Rehearsal for the main group begins at 4:00 Thursday. The retreat concludes at noon on Friday and does not include a noon meal. Online Retreat Registration Site
Note: Online registration has been set up by John Bell on a separate site with a different address, www.smonct.com. This is to utilize resources that are not available on our server for online registration. Thanks go to John for the work he has put into this project, which will benefit Singing Men now and in the years to come. This year’s annual SMOT retreat will be Thursday and Friday, August 21 - 22, 2008. The retreat will be held at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Encampment in Cedar Hill, TX. Because of the requirements for planning, advance registration is needed to plan accordingly. Registering online helps us to be more responsible concerning the environment since no paper will be wasted. It also makes record keeping much easier. Please remember, you must register to be able to attend. Those showing up without registering will not have a place to spend the night and there will not be meal tickets available for you to eat with the group. So, please register! If you choose to stay in a motel room, please understand the preferred arrangement is for double occupancy. Please choose a roommate and list him (or your wife if she is coming) on the form. If you do not include a name, one may be assigned to you at random. Though roommates are encouraged, private rooms are available for an additional cost. If you are staying in the lodge, no roommate is needed. You will have plenty. First come, first serve on the motel. Online registration is time/date stamped, so he who hesitates is "lodged". Thank you for your advance registration. Registration deadline is Friday, August 15.
The Money Stuff:
Note to Prospective Members: Membership in the Singing Men of Texas is open to Southern Baptists who are currently full-time or part-time ministers of music, and those who have been music ministers.
