One of the theaters the Singing Men used was the Roman Theatre in Mérida, a city with no Baptist church or anyone to represent Baptists at all. The great irony of this concert is that the arena next to the theatre was a place where Christians were martyred by the Romans. Both facilities were built before the time of Christ in 26 B.C.
