The Singing Men of Texas - North Central are making plans to go the nations of Poland and Ukraine in April/May of 2022 to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music and the spoken word. We will once again partner with Evangelist Michael Gott and the MGI team. All members are encouraged and invited to go. We are using a digital registration process and are offering online payments as well. See below for more information.

FLIGHTS

The current plan is to fly into Warsaw, Poland and fly out of Kiev, Ukraine.


REGISTRATION

  • Registration is now open, and you can reserve your spot today.
  • You can register even if you don’t have a current passport. We will need your passport information for trip insurance purchase.

COST

  • $1,600 plus airfare.
  • This price includes meals, lodging, ground transportation,
    trip cancelation insurance.
  • MGI will handle all our travel details and pass the actual cost on to us to pay individually. 
  • Airfare estimate is a range between $1,200 to $2,000.


PAYMENTS

  • A deposit of $300 is required to officially register.
  • Airline tickets will be purchased through the MGI office and you will work directly with Amy Pannell. The actual cost of your ticket will be applied to your account.
  • SMOT-NC will pay a stipend toward each member that goes. The amount of this stipend is not known yet, but our goal is to apply at least $1,000 to each member.

ONLINE PAYMENTS

  • SMOT-NC will accept online payments for this trip. If you use a credit/debit card there will be a 3% fee to cover the extra expense to SMOT-NC added to your account.
  • Checks as well as online bill payment from your bank can be used and will not incur the additional fee.

OTHER THINGS

  • Check your passport now. If it is expired, start the renewal process NOW.
  • Your passport should be valid for at least six months after we return (Nov. 2022). If it will expire before then, get it renewed NOW.
  • If you do not have a passport, start the process and get one NOW. Don’t wait. Passport renewal and applications take time.
  • Start saving your funds and/or seeking your church and your circle of influence for support.
  • Pray! Seek the Lord and ask for His blessing and see if He is calling you to go on this trip.


COVID TESTING/VACCINES

This continues to be a hard question to answer fully at this time. It appears that more countries are leaning into being vaccinated rather than showing a negative COVID test for entry. In the coming months it could be that the only way to enter a country is to show proof of full vaccination. You are highly encouraged to get vaccinated if you plan to travel on this trip with SMOT-NC. Vaccination isn’t a requirement as of now, but we want you to be fully aware that by the time we travel in April it may be required for all of us by Poland and/or Ukraine.
